I relentlessly searched for answers as I just couldn’t accept that it was normal to feel this way each month. I literally left no stone unturned. Eventually I learnt that our hormones and cycles are rooted in our underlying health and a reflection of what else is going on in our lives such as emotional stress.

THE SECRET IS IN SOMETHING CALLED 'BODY LITERACY'

A great example of this is the use of apps to track ovulation and the menstrual cycle. It encourages you to tune in to the subtle messages the body is sending and really understand how your lifestyle impacts this.

Having spent several years navigating this topic I started passing on this knowledge to other women. That’s when I decided to become a nutritionist. I love that theres a growing awareness around womens health at the moment and its finally being understood.
